Bugging out with this fine fellow.   

Sleep hard.  

We are slowly coming around to the idea that every outing need not complete bundling of coat, hat, and gloves.  

When it rains all day, what else can you do but make chocolate chip cookies?!? Eating cookies is serious business. (There were lots of "Mmmmms" of approval during the sampling.)  

The road ahead... And the rode we traveled...  

McDonald's alfresco. Does life get better than this?  

Toby wanted to push the stroller up the big ramp from the playground by himself today.  

 Some morning puzzle time gets the brain functioning at it's best.

After using the potty on St. Patrick's Day, Toby demonstrated a lesser-known St. Patrick's Day tradition to us.  This one involves your underwear on your hands.  

Any day you can wear your states t-shirt is a great day. Thanks Aunt Rabi!  

Still a bit chilly, but a chocolate croissant in the park was a great way to kickoff spring.  

When you don't feel like climbing, its good to just pose at the playground.  

When you insist that you "don't have any books you want to read", sometimes you have to let your toes browse through the options.   

Happy St. Patrick's Day, from the lad who got his fill of Nacho Cheese Bugles. May we all be so lucky.  

Hey, what's up? I'm just giving Slumbers his shots. A new season of Octonauts?!? I'm on it. Mom, a little privacy, please.

This trendy new diner has opened up in our neighborhood. The stuffed animals come from miles around. Given the popularity, they might be rethinking their policy of cooking whatever the customer desires.  

He's got his snack bowl and his calendar. This looks like some serious strategizing.  

 Sometimes things work okay, like when you get to eat McDonald's fries in McDonald Park. When it's meant to be you can't fight it.

When you hold something precious in your hands... Wait, where did it go? So...how about those Mets? I think this is going to be their year.  

 First there was the Cat Keyboard. Now we've added the Dog Guitar. We have a legacy of music in Forest Hills.  The Beatles played here in 1964. The Ramones and Simon and Garfunkel are also from here.  We're keeping live music alive in the neighborhood through the pandemic.

Today it was 60 degrees and sunny. But Toby is not one to be fooled by one day of nice weather. His and gloves come off when the REAL spring arrives. (In his defense, there are some 40 degree days coming up.)  

  Sometimes life delivers not just a state puzzle but also state cards. Does it get better than this?! I don't think so.

When you're not sure how you'll ever get everything on your calendar done... And then you realize that you're looking at November. Plenty of time!   

That's definitely not how you're supposed to do it.

Inventing new ways to play the kazoo daily...  

We're a bit early, but gearing up for the approaching spring. Thanks to Great Aunt Lyn for the great new jacket!  

No matter what's going on, a chocolate spatula makes everything better.
