Today's Toby

Wrapping up June with a little more Pride.  

We are loving the rainbows in our neighborhood. Love is love. Happy Pride.  

Don't be fooled by #8's youth. He may be young but his cookie negotiating is on point.  

Toby has some new responsibilities now. He's officially in charge of groceries.

Toby is currently fascinated by the flags of every country in the world. Needless to say, Mom, Dad, Grandma Wright, and maybe even Spencer are all getting better at geography.   

Longer legs means finally being able to step on 2 water streams at the same time! Also, other splashy fun.  

Big brother? Big muscles? Big plans? Who knows. Definitely, something big.  

Happy Father's Day! We are so grateful that this wonderful guy is our Dad. Thanks for always being there with endless love and humor.  

We're unsure about the evolution of this blog with our new addition. For now, we'll keep it true to the titular character.  Here he is with the little bro.    

We have discovered kinetic sand and we can't get enough of it! (Plus, it's pink - what's not to love.)  

Sometimes you just need to do something different with your hair.   

If Spencer ends up as silly as this one, we're in for a lot of laughs.

Sometimes change can be a lot. In times like that it's nice to have a foam mattress to relax in.  

 When we have birthdays in this family, we have cupcakes. Toby hasn't met him yet, but was happy to do the honors of blowing out his new brother's candle. Welcome to the family, Spencer Ellis Wright!  (I know, a post about a baby without a photo of the baby.  Perhaps tomorrow...)

We opened up some new paints and our love for the fine arts has been rekindled. Sure there are pictures that could be painted, but squeezing paint bottles and mixing colors is where it's at.   

What do you mean Kansas isn't a big tourist destination? How is that even possible?  

We're working on our fielding first.  A good defense is a good offense.  

Hot days call for BIG refreshment.  

You never know when you might need your bike helmet at the playground.   

Living all our doughnut dreams on National Doughnut Day.  

It takes a lot of hard work to make this move look so easy.
