Today's Toby

Found a great seat to watch the Thanksgiving parade with Uncle Scott. No wait, this pillow on the floor os even better!

  An early Christmas with one set of grandparents means early Christmas cookies! Gotta try things as you go. Creating the art. We started with green, white, and red icing. Then we had to make pink. The mess is part of the fun. Here's how you do it Uncle Scott. Showing off the final product with Grandma. Happy start to the holiday season!

December must be coming up fast.  

Making sure that Slumbers doesn't fall out of bed. (The picture is a little dark, but if you look you can make out a bear shaped pillow.)  

This is our Grateful Turkey. Every day in November we thought about some things that we were grateful for and wrote them on the feathers of our turkey. Suffice to say, we have a lot of blessings.   

Toby was ready for the denist this time around. He asked lots of questions and was very brave!  

These pictures are a throw back to May. Somehow we missed posting them. But good smiles are not to be missed.  

Mom and Dad, if this new mattress is going to work it's HAS to be bouncy.  I'll check it out.  Hmm... nice and soft.  Now the real test.  Yup, pretty bouncy. After bouncy, I guess it should be good to sleep on. Not too shabby.  We can keep it.  

Who goes there? No, this is not a knock knock joke! I didn't even say knock knock.  

Enjoying some great books at the library.   

We got to see Great Aunt Bonnie and First Cousin Once Removed Davis and Toby got practice his hosting skills. He made sure everyone was offered cheese and crackers.  

We may have been rocking out to "Galoop Went the Little Green Frog" as we crossed the street. Fortunately, Mom was looking out for cars.  

 Toby has been very helpful in trying to help keep Spencer entertained recently.  And as you can see, Spencer loves it.  And Toby is enjoying feeling useful.  Great things all around.

We call this "Mom tries to get a fun picture of Toby against the fall foliage." Fun is subject to interpretation. As well it should be.

 Mommy's been refreshing her French.  Sometimes Toby jumps in to learn too.

If you're going to wear a mask, make it a handsome one.  

When you have so much Halloween candy, you just don't know what to choose.   

I wasn't prepared to have an assistant when I was making brownies, but help is always welcome. Plus, a spoon covered in chocolate doesn't hurt.  

The other swings are nice, but the red swing is the best.
