Today's Toby

Explaining the finer points of country marble racing to a rapt audience.  

The marble run at Grandma and Grandpa Wright's is serious business.   

It seems that Toby and Cousin Kira have formed a Bananagrams alliance.  

You can't see it in this picture, but he's looking at the snow that was falling outside.

One of our neighbors dropped off some Christmas gifts for Toby and Spencer. Toby was having a great time playing with his. (I promise that this is him having fun.)

Mixing up birthday cupcakes for Mommy! And carefully adding the icing Not pictured, Toby being very generous with the sprinkles.  So generous Daddy couldn't have his phone out at the same time.

When realize that Santa comes in just over a week.  

Since our wreath is made with real evergreen bows, we're supposed to spray it with water twice a week. Toby takes this responsibility very seriously. (It doesn't hurt that he loves spraying the water.)  

A throwback to Thanksgiving. These were pictures from their Thanksgiving feast.  

Turns out, empty wrapping paper tubes make excellent car tunnels.  

These flakes were few in numbers but mighty in size.  

It was unseasonably warm today, but the threat of rain kept the playground clear.  Perfect conditions for lots of great bike riding.    

I don't know that he'll ever be a snuggle bug, but he has his moments.  

This is a picture of a picture. It was in a document that Toby's school sent home about what they had been learning that month. Unfortunately, the digital file was deleted, so this image quality is as good as it gets. I have no idea what was going on when this picture was taken, but I love everything about it.

Dear Toby, Getting a little brother is a big adjustment. It has changed how we do just about everything. It hasn't been easy, but you have done a tremendous job of going with the flow as Dad and I try to make all the pieces fit together. You are such a great kiddo. We love you! Love Mom & Dad  

Or rather, hat's on.  

Practice makes perfect. Thus, we are well on our way to being the goofiest of goofballs.  

You can't argue with the calendar. National Cookie Day comes only once a year. Enjoy!  

I wish for a cookie... Is this like GrubHub where I have to wait 20 minutes or is this like Prime where I have to wait until tomorrow?
