Today's Toby

Squishing the pom poms according to color. (This was a hit. Drawing silly faces on Tupperware lids was decidedly not. Sigh.)  

Silly putty, that is. The homemade stuff doesn't bounce as well as the original, but it does do a great job with image transfer.

I wasn't expecting that the main draw would be squashing the water beads, but when it's February break you follow what's interesting. (Personally, I find it fascinating how they look in water.)

There is a distinct possibility we might go as Olympic Flag Bearers next Halloween. Either way we're practicing what it would be like to carry the Argentina flag in the Opening Ceremony.

At the start of the pandemic, we started doing an activity called Penguin Pete. We fill the activity bin with blue "ocean" water, then add "icebergs" and shaving cream "snow" for Penguin Pete and his friends to play in. It continues to be a hit.

Pro-tip:  When you're making a trip down the the laundry room, but it's snowing outside it's a good idea to wear your snow boots just in case.

We continue to be so very grateful that this has been Toby's first school experience.
