Today's Toby

Hanging with Mom. We give it two thumbs up!

Enjoying the last chocolate of the day. And giving the side-eye to everyone, so that no one tries to steal it from you.  

You know you're at home when you're sprawled out all over the floor. (Either that or there were some coins on the ground.)  

Toby has been working on his basketball skills. Today was the first time he made a basket with a full size ball. He made 10 baskets in all and was so excited.  

Finding some new ways to play with the stairs.  

Lost in thought.  

You can't be too careful around here. You never know when things might get crazy.  

Always bring a big ball to the book nook. You never know when you might need to bounce.  

Some days you just need to flaunt your authentic, Italian socks. (Thanks, Grandpa Wright!)

Toby said we HAD to get a picture of these for mom. He knows her well.  

Toby was so excited to show me how he could build the Knoodle pyramid.  

Beware of falling blocks.  

Between the snow day and the other days off from school, we've been enjoying some new games. (Games we were given, but hadn't gotten a chance to play yet.) One of which, is Slamwich. Here Toby is reveling in how many cards he's acquired. (Thanks, Grandma Wright!)  

Finally, out in the snow.  

Suffice to say, Toby had a hard believing how much snow we got.  

Leaning on each other (in the new stroller, where they can sit side by side), on the ride home from school.

Don't worry, Toby still has two legs. Just gearing up for a monster kick. Pretty sure he scored here, but just because the goalie was doubling as photographer.  

Today was Toby's first field trip and first time on a school bus! I was lucky enough to be a chaperone. We went to the Liberty Science Center. We've been there a few times, but it's even more fun with friends. Here was our group: Team HAT. Coincidentally lined up in order: Harriet, Anna, and Toby.  

Toby wanted me to watch him enjoying a few Sour Patch Kids.  

I'm convinced that 45 degrees in the spring is a completely different temperature than 45 degrees in the fall.  

When you're so excited to find out what happens next in the book that you read ahead on your own.

Well, this is an unusual groundhog. Think this means there will be an early breakfast.  

Nice to have a buddy to eat squeezes and watch videos with.  

Always ready to curl up with a book.  

When Toby was brushing his teeth this morning, he was inspired to style his hair into a faux hawk. A tiny bit of it remained when we picked him up after school. (Thankfully, he was only styling with water and not hair product.)
