Today's Toby

It's always special when we get all the cousins- big and small - together. Happy Thanksgiving to all!  

Playing Exploding Kittens with Grandma. We needed to double check some rules, but Toby was thrilled to be able to play.  

Ready for vacation!   

The best part of the day is playtime with Dad.  

During Bronco games the kids are allowed to do Snackapalooza in front of the game.  

We tried for artsy this morning. Didn't quite work...

Slumbers is pretending to be disinterested, but he's dying to hear all about the book Toby's reading.

While I was packing lunches tonight 'Defying Gravity' started playing. I turned around to fond Toby and Spencer dancing with each other. Normally I have to remind them to go back to their snack countless times at this time of night as they get distracted  Tonight I watched them dance   

Fun with some interactive games at a birthday party this weekend.  

Probably over a year ago we helped fund a Kick Sarter for a very cool new toy.  This week it finally arrived: the Chomp Stop! Excited to see what we come up with!

It's a good day that ends with glowing.  

Since Toby only had a half-day of school today, we made some gingerbread cookies. I would have taken more action shots, but it was an all-hands-on-deck sort of affair. But the cookies got rave reviews.  

It's less evident with this shirt than with others (especially when the "tag" is printed on instead of sewn in), but the number of times Toby emerges with something on backwards feels...frequent. I imagine it's because he's lost in his thoughts.

Saturday afternoon movie with Dad! The kids had fun. Dad was over the moon.  

Toby was looking (and feeling) extra cozy in his comfy pants.  Spencer is looking forward to wearing those himself one day.

Twinning. Next time, we'll clear more room so that both of them can fit.  

We're in our ferocious period.  

Toby and his classmate planting bulbs at school. It was hot and dry, but they preserved.  

They look dubious, but I promise they wanted to go with me to vote. Thanks to early voting, we were in and out in just a few minutes. Today in school, Spencer got to vote for which flavor of Goldfish crackers was the best. His favorite (orange) won. And Toby got to vote for America's Favorite Calf. He voted for the calf his classroom adopted, Mootilda. (Results have not yet been announced.)  

The thrill of choosing which Halloween candy you're going to have for dessert.
