Today's Toby

Finishing the last few pages of the chapter before snack-a-palooza.  

Toby took a tumble this afternoon. Fortunately,  his knees took the worst of it.  

The legs have traded their pants for shorts. At least, for the next day or so.  

He shoots, he scores! Making use of the nice weather to shoot some hoops.  

Looks like he's up to something.    

Working on hard on this project. Only burned his fingers a couple of times!

This is how Toby wanted to be photographed. And he fully approved when he saw the pictures. So, success?  

Brotherly silliness.   

Toby made a mini Lombardi Trophy at art club. Mom made Toby laugh by saying "farts!"  

Toby's most recent trend is to stuff his legs into his pillowcase with his pillow (underneaththe pillow). He says it is pillow paradise. I would say he's crazy, but Spencer seems to agree with him.  

Today Toby and I ventured to Madison Square Garden to watch the Spurs play the Knicks.  The rest wasn't what we were hoping for, but we had a great time. Thanks to Grandma amd Grandpa Paradine for making it happen! And here's De'Aaron Fox signing an autograph for Toby before the game!  

As part of his Gifted & Talented homework, Toby is working on researching an artist and will be recreating their artwork in a new medium. Toby chose Edwin Taylor, who designed the old 'D' Broncos logo. Here he is typing out the written part of the assignment, while coincidentally wearing the current logo.  

Toby thought this library book was so hilarious that he had to come read me the entire thing. And he laughed so hard he gave himself hiccups.   

Toby and his friend Hudson are creating their own football routes. Apparently, Toby is cataloging the names and paths of each route.   

I told Toby that he looked like he was short circuiting when I put in his eye drops. So, of course, he wanted to see what that looked like.   

Toby made a...thingamajig in art.  

"Snow-swimming" through the yard, in order to make pathways. What else could you be expected to do with almost 20 inches of snow?  

Big deal, Toby, I could put my feet on your head  too.

A good book gets even better the cozier you are.

Hanging out at dad's desk and the conference room turned craft/movie room.  

On a whim we went out to the bowling alley this afternoon. Fortunately, the pins are a bit smaller inside.

Valen-twinning. Toby and Spencer both had their school Valentine's parties today. And both were wearing red shirts, red hoodies, and gray sweatpants.  

When you've banged up your knees, so you're committed to keeping ice packs on them.
