Today's Toby

I'm told that the blue facial hair was an accident. Thankfully, it wasn't sharpie.  

You've seen it on a couple blog posts already, mainly because Toby is currently using this face anytime he's trying to be silly.  It's working  

 In honor of the winter Olympics, we've revived living room curling.

Before long, he'll be the full length of the sofa.  

And was like "woah!" And then lunch was over.  

Leading the way home, winter edition.  

Apparently, the assignment was to draw crazy hair on themselves. Mission accomplished!

Headed back to the polls for the special election. These kids know we vote every time we have the opportunity.  

No swim class the past two weeks because of weather. Fortunately, he seems to still remember what he's doing.  

Toby wanted to see Spencer's photo of Zzzax. And it did not disappoint.

Toby wasn't feeling great today, so we kept him home from school. He was fine by the afternoon, but he was so bored that he elected to come pickup Spencer from school.  

Toby and Spencer both had a snow delay this morning, so Toby was able to get in a little extra reading time. Looks like it's a good book.

The Harlem Wizards came to town and they played against some of Toby's teachers. We even got called down as a family to play name that song!

Working on his Gifted & Talented homework with Dad. The G&T program is in the midst of a makeover - which is a nice way of saying "it's really annoying but hopefully improving." Toby has been a trooper with regard to hanging in there despite the extra work and frustration.  

We had a great - if short - visit with the Ross family. Special thanks to the Ross kids for the forts, snow adventures, and video games.

Visiting friends in Massachusetts meant Toby got to level up his viewing experience for the game.
