Today's Toby

It was a very special 3rd birthday, indeed.   Even though we couldn't be with any of you to celebrate, we all certainly felt the love.   Thank you to each of you who helped us celebrate from a distance.   Happy Birthday, Toby.   Checking out the decorations.. playing it cool. July 2018: August 2019: August 2020:  

We'd like to thank Dad (for scouting out our new dentist and taking great pictures so we could see what it looks like), Daniel Tiger (for giving us an idea about what to expect at the dentist), and Nona (our hygienist, who let us check out all the tools beforehand). Toby was so brave!

This is the life... and life is fun!

There are so many boys when we go to visit the Ross family. And Toby had a great time hanging out with all of them. Did we mention a famous food blogger lives here? Cause she does. And these ice cream sandwiches are divine. Our silly cup runneth over. So great to have all these kiddos at the same table...even if it was only for a moment. Being the smallest comes with some pretty good perks.  

We took a quick trip to see the Ross Family. This was Toby's first time facing forward in his carseat. It was too exciting to take a nap on our drive there. But by the time we drove home, he was momentarily overcome by his exhaustion.  

Ever feel like you're spinning in circles?

 One of the milestones we thought we'd be reaching this fall was starting school. Unfortunately, that's not going to be the case. So, for now, this backpack remains ready for other adventures.

This little car is making it's way through a second generation of kiddo's. Thank you to cousins Jacki, Kira and Jacob for passing it on to us. Grandma and Grandpa Wright, it seems like this was a good purchase!

Something's coming this way. Lookout - it could be exciting. Never mind, it was just a Mom joke. Any chance these jokes will get better over time?  

 The Tiger family got to enjoy some fresh woodchips thanks to a downed tree in our neighborhood. 

Apparently, this seal is a very skilled pilot. Fortunately, Toby recognized his hidden potential immediately. (His 4 flippers are the airplane seats, in case that wasn't apparent.)
