Today's Toby

Rehearsing some musical numbers in the kitchen. Singing, dancing, and acting all at the same time!  

Toby has recently learned about Jinx, and he's keeping close count on how many Coke's he is owed. This one he had to share with mommy.  

We unveiled our reusable water balloons today. And they were a big hit. Toby wanted to try to splash the birds. But the birds proved to be a worthy adversary.

The Kindergarten students got to pick one piece of their art work to display in the Art Show. Toby picked his mosaic. You might notice that it bears a resemblance to the flag of Ghana.  

Our town in New Jersey is known for it's Gas Street Lamps. So naturally, a town fair featured a Gas Lamp photo op.  

Caught a candid shot during Toby's pre-bed meal (not to be confused with dinner). The pre-bed meal consists of roughly half a million made-to-order snacks courtesy of Dad.  Here, Toby is mid-chew and lost in thought, while Dad zooms around in the background.

The bad news: It's time to go to school. The good news: There's no school tomorrow!

We had a lovely weekend celebrating Xander's Bar Mitzvah in Massachusetts.  Before our drive back we also had a beautiful Mother's Day brunch. Thanks to Fran for this picture of Cotton and Aunt Jessie. Mazel tov to Xander and the entire Ross family. Thank you for the weekend. And Happy Mother's day to Cotton, Grandma P, Grandma W, Rabi, Bahiya, and Jessie. Lots of special moms to celebrate.

Toby wanted to plant the extra seeds we had from the planter, so we took them out back. He was happy to discover the hose and had fun trying to water... everything.   

Home Depot hosts kid workshops on thr first Saturday of the month. Today was our first time going. Toby made a planter. Here he is driving some nails. Of course, we needed to paint. Spencer painted one too. Once home we took them out to plant the seeds. A fun Saturday activity. Looking forward to next month!
