Today's Toby

Post school sass.  

Love you, kiddo.  

When your mom tells you something crazy. And you have no idea whether she's serious or not.  

You know you're good friends with someone when they let you toss them around while you do your thinking.  

Toby Wan Kenobi would like you to know "these are not the kids you're looking for".  

Some schoolyard "soccer".  

Making sure we pack all the essentials.  

A special weeknight outing wih dad made for some big smiles all around.  

Or at least watching 2 minutes drain by on the hourglass.  

Pondering the mysteries of life. Or waiting for a snack. Who can say?  

Getting out the bounces before bed.  

Toby also wanted to get in on the shoveling fun.  Nice to have help, even if he did have to borrow my gloves.  

Toby had a snow day today (despite zero accumulation on the ground) so he got to play some board games like this one. (Thanks, Great Aunt Lynn!)  

Only someone who runs hot would wear a t-shirt in January.  

We'll have to scale the fence in order to...get to bed.  [It's possible that we've been reading a lot of adventure books.]  

Working on tossing and catching.  

Hard at work, all the way at the end of barre.

You can never have too many maps. Especially, if they come with flags.  

An exciting day (see Spencer's blog) made even better by a cookie with our names on it.  

The universal thrill of waiting to see the dentist. Fortunately, SpongeBob happened to be on Nickelodeon while we were there.  

We've entered the land of a thousand "I love you's".  

Ok, everybody. We're taking pictures. That means I shouldn't be the only one looking at the camera. That's better! Did you see that I lost a tooth?! My Mom is out of control!  But that's part of what I love about her.  

Most of the snow has melted, but Toby made the most of playing with what was left on the playground.  

Toby started a Basketball Skills & Drills class today. This was his first time dribbing with a real basketball!  

Toby and Cotton recorded a surprise Video on my phone. I think I was supposed to just find it one day, but Toby was too excited and told me he wanted me to watch it with him there. The build-up was worth it. See for yourself. It's better with the sound up.  

We go together like...hugs and apples.  

Someday the bedtime goofiness will fade away. But until then, I'll take what I can get.  

...Cheetos after dinner!
