Today's Toby

What's the opposite of wallflower? Because I think we may have one of those.

Flags in unexpected places is always a treat. But if you know where to look you can almost always find them. These are pics from a couple different grocery store trips recently.

Pre Camp Auditions. I asked him afterward whether it was fun or super duper fun? And I got an enthusiastic "super duper fun!" p

Some pictures from the Kindergarten Field Day, which was held inside due to the smoke and ash from the Canadian forest fires.

Hold my calls. I'm having an ice cream break.

Trying badminton for the first time!

Back to the Home Depot workshop to make a putting toy.  Lots of fun and this time, knowing what to expect, Dad had a much better plan going in.

Guess who was lucky recipient of some Eric Carle Bombas? This kid. So fancy!

Cutie (with a Cookie)!

Having a snack and relaying all the buzz from school.

Rehearsing some musical numbers in the kitchen. Singing, dancing, and acting all at the same time!

Toby has recently learned about Jinx, and he's keeping close count on how many Coke's he is owed. This one he had to share with mommy.

We unveiled our reusable water balloons today. And they were a big hit. Toby wanted to try to splash the birds. But the birds proved to be a worthy adversary.

Sharing a blanket and a book with Spencer.

Posing with Mom amd Spencer at Freeman Gardens

The Kindergarten students got to pick one piece of their art work to display in the Art Show. Toby picked his mosaic. You might notice that it bears a resemblance to the flag of Ghana.

Our town in New Jersey is known for it's Gas Street Lamps. So naturally, a town fair featured a Gas Lamp photo op.

Caught a candid shot during Toby's pre-bed meal (not to be confused with dinner). The pre-bed meal consists of roughly half a million made-to-order snacks courtesy of Dad.  Here, Toby is mid-chew and lost in thought, while Dad zooms around in the background.

Getting ready for our trip to Italy by reading about Lucca.

Toby's Spring Concert was last week. He's near the middle in the yellow group.  Here are some selections. These were his favorites that he requested I film that morning. Earth, Earth: I Gave My Dog a Bath: Roy G. Biv

Dishing out some playground realness.

The bad news: It's time to go to school. The good news: There's no school tomorrow!

Toby wanted to try out his monkey moves on the playground.

You say furniture, I say obstacle course.
