Today's Toby

Toby's advanced to an electric toothbrush.   

Toby and Spencer have adopted solo evening reading time while Dad packs lunches. Toby's spot is the couch.  

We had some sun and some warmer temperatures today.

 Needless to say, the town books swap was a great success.   This photo? Not so much.  

Bringing out some old friends to play with.  

Sometimes, it takes a little teamwork to get the job done.  

I missed posting this amazing picture of Toby having band practice while our friends were visiting. Suffice to say, it was lit.

Some friends from Queens came to visit! We were so glad to see Katie and Eli. She took these classic family portraits. And this group selfie. Are these kiddos cute or what?!  

The flowers and the candlelight make him look more pensive than he was, but it was a quiet moment as we tried to calm down after a fun day.

Toby's class had a Valentines/Super Bowl party. There were crafts and games and all kinds of fun.

Today was pajama day at school. Toby was looking forward to being cozy.  

This kiddo enjoyed football season this year. He got to watch one more half today before bed. Also displaying his mini-helmets from Christmas. Thanks Uncle Scott!  

One Christmas present Toby got that he was particularly excited about was a rock tumbler. Thank you Grandma Wright! On December 29th we started the process... Every two or three weeks we'd swap out to a new level of grit... Compressing the work that nature does over thousands of years.. Culminating in this happy kiddo 7 weeks later with the results this afternoon. He had so much fun. We're going to take a break after listening to tumbling for 7 straight weeks coming from out basement, but he can't wait to do it again!
